Alycia Baumgardner hopes to become the undisputed women's super featherweight champion on Saturday night when she takes on Elhem Mekhaled in New York live on DAZN.
If she achieves this feat, there are a number of possibilties for Baumgardner when it comes to who she will face next including the chance to face one of the world's best pound-for-pound fighters in Amanda Serrano.
"Amanda Serrano has definitely been brought up, again I love a challenge, I love a great fight with a great champion," Baumgardner told ">The DAZN Boxing Show when asked about a potential clash with the Puerto Rican.
"A fight with Amanda would be another great fight under my belt just to solidify who Alycia is and what she is doing in the sport of boxing."
IBF, WBO and WBC women's featherweight champion Serrano is also in action on the same night when she takes on WBA title-holder Erika Cruz for the undisputed title at 126lbs.
