Is Anthony Joshua still interested in fighting Deontay Wilder after the latter's loss?

AJ tackled the subject with his honest thoughts.

Deontay Wilder couldn't uphold his end of the bargain, losing to Joseph Parker by unanimous decision Saturday in Riyadh.

But Anthony Joshua more than held up his end of the dance by forcing Otto Wallin's corner to stop their main event fight after the end of the fifth round.

So with that being said, is AJ still interested in fighting Wilder? For starters, he didn't kick Wilder while "The Bronze Bomber" was down.

"Deontay, everything he said about me, I could rip him apart right now, but I'm going to take the higher ground and I hope he comes back," Joshua told DAZN's Chris Mannix after his victory.

Still, Joshua didn't completely shutter the possibility of fighting Wilder.

"You can do anything, just don't give up. Keep on pushing, keep on striving and you can do anything. And if he wants, he can come back and fight another day," Joshua tacked on. "It's up to him. I'm sure all of us wants to see that fight, right?

"Or do they want to see me fight?" he asked the crowd with a laugh.

The "Day of Reckoning" card was set up to cement a collision course for Wilder and Joshua, before Parker had something to say about that.
