Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley have both impressed in their most recent fights and the pair have been linked to a huge world title showdown in 2025.
In September, Dubois caused a huge shock when he destroyed Anthony Joshua in five rounds to retain his IBF championship.
The following month, Wardley was involved in a domestic rivalry of his own when he settled his feud with Frazer Clarke in an emphatic manner with a first-round stoppage .
Wardley is on the verge of becoming a major star, but is he ready for a shot at Daniel Dubois?
Here, the DAZN panel decides whether Wardley has a chance against Dubois.

Wardley looked terrific against a rather stationary target in Frazer Clarke, but IBF heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois is on another level.
Wardley can't abandon his style now and must let his hands go, though Dubois has underrated movement and blunt force with his punches that Wardley might not be ready for. Once Dubois pieces combinations together, Wardley is going to be in trouble.

As British heavyweight champion, Fabio Wardley is now pushing for a chance to showcase himself against the world’s best heavyweights, but is IBF champion Daniel Dubois a step too far for his next fight?
One thing is for certain if the two were to meet, the contest will not be going the distance with both Wardley and Dubois not afraid to let their hands go.
For Wardley, a meeting with Dubois next is a little early. The IBF champion has improved significantly and has shown to be clinical inside the ring with his punching power.
While Wardley has shown that he has a good chin, Dubois is entering the peak of his career and after knocking down Anthony Joshua four times in their Wembley showdown, I struggle to see how Wardley would be able to recover from Dubois’ dynamite hands.
Wardley should not rush towards a world title shot and at the age of 29, there is still plenty of time to bid for boxing’s most glamorous prize. Instead, I would like to see Wardley challenge an experienced operator at heavyweight like Sweden’s Otto Wallin.

They say there is no time like the present - and off the back of such a destructive show of power in Saudi Arabia, there may be no better time for Wardley.
Older than Dubois by two years, but with less fights in the ring as a professional, there's a gulf in experience that may arguably only get larger with time.
If Wardley is serious about his world title ambitions, then there's no better time to test himself against one of the sport's leading lights, and on home soil too. The risk is massive - a defeat could send him tumbling down the ranks, and leave him forced to rebuild his reputation from scratch to challenge again.
But as an opportunity to show his mettle, Wardley can surely take a leap of faith on his own prowess and chin against such a destructive foe.

World title opportunities for big money don’t come around often in boxing, and if Wardley has the chance to face Dubois then it’s an offer he must consider seriously.
Earlier this year, Wardley almost lost his unbeaten record to Clarke in their original contest and although he’s now put that rivalry to bed, it can serve as a reminder that hard tests are everywhere in the heavyweight division.
Can Wardley defeat Dubois at this stage? It would take a huge effort, but he could perform in a manner that could help him be better prepared next time whilst also being paid a lot of money.
Dubois is proof that a defeat or two isn’t the end of the world. Wardley could also approach his career in that manner, and by taking on such an approach, he could either land the jackpot or be a better fighter for the experience.
