Heavyweight Jarred Anderson Believes that Shakur Stevenson is a better pound-for-pound fighter than Canelo Alvarez.
Anderson is undefeated with 11 fights and 11 knockouts, and he next fights on August 27 when he faces Miljan Rovcanin.
Appearing on the DAZN Boxing Show, Anderson was asked for his top five, and as well as plumping for Stevenson over the undisputed super middleweight, there was another surprise inclusion in the top five.
“It’s a shaky order. Terence Crawford and Shakur Stevenson are my top two,” he said.
“From there I’ve got to go Canelo, Tyson Fury, and Jesse Rodriguez.”
He explained why he chose ‘Bam’, the WBC super flyweight champion.
“If anybody is listening or watching right now - Jesse Rodriguez, you’ll see, I promise y’all,” he said.
“I kid you not, if we could stack weight on him for a certain amount of time, he would dominate certain amount of fighters up until about 140.
“I promise you.”
