Israil Madrimov has been forced to withdraw on medical grounds from his bout with Serhii Bohachuk on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury's rematch.

The former WBA light-middleweight champion had been due to face the one-time WBC interim title holder as part of Riyadh Season's Reignited, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View.

But now Madrimov has pulled out of the clash, scheduled for December 21 at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia, after coming down with a case of acute bronchitis.

On X, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh confirmed that Ishmael Davis will now face Bohachuk, while Madrimov will focus on recovery for his February bout with Vergil Ortiz Jr instead.
