After enduring the frustration of two postponed bouts with Tommy Fury, Jake Paul has admitted that he believes his rival is scared of him.

The pair were originally set to square off at the backend of last year before injury forced Fury to withdraw. A rescheduled contest this past summer was also called off with Fury unable to travel to America.

This weekend, Paul faces the biggest test of his short career when he comes up against former UFC star, Anderson Silva.

Fury is scheduled to appear on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition with Deji next month, and although both men are traveling on different paths for the time being, Paul couldn’t resist another verbal attack on Fury.

"I do think he got scared the second time, and maybe he'll get scared again but it is what it is,” said Paul when speaking to Mirror Fighting .

“I just want to make him pay for that and I think where things are going now, we've given up on trying to put on an event with him.

"I think his team is doing it now, they're the ones working on it and they're the ones taking all of the risk if Tommy pulls out. So financially I would be protected in that case and I would just love to see this kid who's a delusional pretty boy that talks a lot of s—t asleep on the canvas.”
