The YouTube celebrity goaded the legendary boxer.

YouTube celebrity Jake Paul was taken aback by Floyd Mayweather attacking him on social media and suggesting the pair meet in 2021.

Mayweather was due to fight Jake’s older brother Logan Paul on 20 February, but Logan reported that the date has been put back indefinitely.

Mayweather has been out of professional action since he fought Conor McGregor in August 2017 to end his career with a record of 50-0, but has put on an exhibition fight against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2019. He now seems ready to get back in the ring this year for another money-spinning event.

Jake’s next fight is due to be against MMA fighter Ben Askren on 17 April, but he is not interested in fighting an exhibition bout against Mayweather.

Speaking to TMZ, he said: "I'm 2 and 0 with 2 KO's with pro fights.

"If Floyd wants to do these exhibitions, ya know ... cool. But, I'm a real fighter. He has to take me seriously and I think the reason he wants to do these exhibitions is because he's afraid to risk his legacy of his 50 and 0 record in case he were to lose."

"But, I'm not doing the exhibition sh—. It doesn't interest me. Those are like fake patty-cake fights."

He then suggested the 43-year-old fighter was feeling mental strain given his social media antics.

"This guy is out of his mind. He just calls me out, out of nowhere — same with 50 Cent! I mean, he hasn't even fought my brother yet,” he said.

“It just seems like he's losing his marbles ... like what the f— is this guy doing?! It just seems like this guy is money hungry. It seems like he hasn't paid his taxes or some sh— and he just wants to fight everyone," Paul said.
