Jake Paul makes decision on potential Conor McGregor fightDAZN

Jake Paul gave his verdict on a potential fight with Conor McGregor at his press conference with Nate Diaz.

The American duo fight on August 5 on DAZN PPV in what could be one of the most highly anticipated fights of the year.

The crossover event sees Paul attempt his comeback from his first professional fight, against Tommy Fury earlier in his career.

Diaz and Paul took to the stage and the pair were full of praise for one another as they talked up the forthcoming clash, with Diaz making his boxing debut after a career in MMA.

Paul has been linked with a fight against Diaz’s former UFC opponent McGregor, and when the crossover fighter was asked about future plans, he made it plain that he had the Irishman in his sights.

"I'm gonna do what Conor McGregor couldn't do and that's knock this man out,” he said.

Asked about a potential fight with McGregor he said their fight would be, “inevitable,” and said: “I think he’s got trauma from when Nate slapped his head off.”
