Jake Paul insists he’s ready to make the switch to MMA, but it’s just deciding on the right opponent.
Paul returns to action later this year when he goes in with former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, in what is set to be a huge boxing event.
After finding some success in the boxing ring, Paul is eager to test himself in another combat sport and a switch to the cage could come soon.
The popular YouTuber has a great relationship with the PFL, and when he’s finally able to commit himself to MMA, Paul thinks Nate Diaz could be the right first opponent.
"It's just about finding the right name. We have the money, we're ready to go. We're ready to make offers to people,” said Paul when speaking to Talksport at a recent PFL event.
"It's just like they have to be able to draw sales and it has to be a fight where it's like this is my first MMA fight. So, I think I could beat Nate Diaz in my first MMA fight. It would be tough of course, 50/50 fight.”
