Jake Paul offered Muhammad Ali comparison ahead of Anderson Silva fightDAZN

Jake Paul is getting ready to face Anderson Silva this weekend and ahead of the fascinating clash, the popular YouTuber has been compared to Muhammad Ali.

Paul is aiming to prove some doubters wrong this Saturday as he faces his sternest test to date, but victory against Silva still won’t be enough to please some people due to the former UFC star’s limited boxing background.

In the last 12 months, Paul has been angered at high profile fights falling through that would've answered questions about his true ability.

Tommy Fury, the younger brother of heavyweight champion, Tyson, has pulled out of two fights with Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr was forced out over weight issues.

Paul is still eager to prove himself and his polarising status in the boxing world reminds WBC President, Mauricio Sulaiman, of Ali.

"People did not like Muhammad Ali," said Sulaiman when speaking to The Express.

"Half of the people who watched Ali fight at the time wanted him to lose, and today he is regarded as the greatest athlete in the history of humanity."
