Jake Paul was not impressed by Tommy Fury's six-round showing.

Tommy Fury's six-round decision win over unknown Polish boxer Daniel Bocianski to kick off the main card of Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium did not impress many on social media.

In fact, many were quick to reference Jake Paul, the polarising YouTube star who has crossed over into boxing both as a fighter and a promoter. Paul and Fury nearly battled in December, only for the latter to withdraw injured.

And with most fans believing Fury would be in serious trouble against Paul if the fight was revived, the American told Ariel Helwani that he was also left wanting by the bout.

“Congrats on beating a 10-1 fighter," said Paul. "But that stadium was empty.

"When I fight the stadium is full. When Tommy fights no one gives a f--k.

"And that’s in his home country. Let’s see how Anderson Silva’s event does.”

Paul will be co-promoting what could be the biggest women's fight in boxing history seven days from tonight, when his client Amanda Serrano challenges Katie Taylor for the undisputed lightweight championship of the world at Madison Square Garden, live worldwide on DAZN.
