Jake Paul is still finding his feet in the boxing world but that hasn’t stopped the popular YouTuber from aiming for the sport’s biggest names.
Paul is back on action on December 15 against Andre August when he looks to finish the year strong following a mixed 2023 that saw him lose his unbeaten record to Tommy Fury back in February.
Paul bounced back from the loss impressively as he outpointed former UFC superstar, Nate Diaz, in August.
With numerous high-profile bouts possible in 2024 due to his massive following, Paul won’t be short of options and one person he’s eager to test himself against is current pound for pound star, Canelo Alvarez.
“I think it becomes this really fun, interesting fight that is historical, and Canelo has shown and said in interviews, he’s expressed interest in it,” said Paul when appearing on The MMA Hour.
“So, I think we’re closer than we think and it’s bizarre to even be saying that now.”
