Amir Khan is still in shock that Jake Paul has agreed to fight Mike Tyson despite the latter’s age heading into the fight.
The pair will clash this summer in what promises to be a huge event that will see the novice fighter take on one of boxing’s most feared heavyweight champions.
During his 1980s peak, Tyson was boxing’s biggest name, but his last fight took place in 2005 when he was stopped by Kevin McBride.
Paul is still new to the sport, but he has looked impressive in some fights but had to endure a loss last year when facing Tommy Fury.
“The fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, wow, no one would have ever expected a fight like that fight to be made,” said Khan when speaking to Gambling Zone.
“Mike Tyson is a legend of the game and not someone who you want to mess about with, even though he’s older now and has been retired for a long time, he’s obviously done a few exhibitions.
“I just feel that he can really hurt Jake Paul. I just can’t believe what Jake Paul’s thinking. He’s fighting a heavyweight great and I think he can get hurt badly.”
