Lennox Lewis is the latest fight figure to have his say on Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson and the undisputed former heavyweight champion believes Paul should be thankful.
The bout, which takes place in July, has been speculated to be fought under exhibition rules and Lewis thinks that factor will aid Paul.
The popular YouTuber has participated in numerous high-profile bouts, but his fight with Tyson is by far his biggest battle to date.
The heavy-handed New Yorker was one of boxing’s most dangerous fighters in the 1980s and following decade and he also shared a ring with Lewis in 2002 when he was stopped in eight rounds.
"I would feel really bad for Jake Paul. I don't want him to get hurt,” said Lewis when discussing what impact a sanctioned fight would make with TMZ Sports.
Lewis added, “It’s going to be a great fight.”
