We’re just a few weeks away from one of the biggest boxing events of the year as Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are both getting ready for their huge clash.
Paul, a boxing novice still building his record, will be welcoming Tyson back into the ring almost 20 years after his last professional bout.
Then, Tyson was sensationally stopped by Kevin McBride before walking away from the sport following an incredible run that saw him reign as world champion on two occasions.
At his very best, Tyson was boxing’s biggest name, and his fights were must-see attractions as he took on major names including Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis.
Since exiting the sport in 2005, Tyson has participated in numerous exhibition bouts, but this fight will be a legitimate professional contest.
Tim Bradley, a former two-weight world champion, is the latest high-profile names to comment on the battle, and he’s giving his backing to Tyson.
“Mike Tyson, knock his a-- out, baby! At first, I thought about it, I was like this is kind of crazy but then I saw the rules. It said knockouts, knockdowns. It’s official, it can happen. Two minutes, that’s going to favour Mike Tyson,” said Bradley when speaking to ProBox TV .
“Two minutes instead of three, no doubt about it. Think about it, two-minute drill. He comes out in the first four rounds like he’s always blazing, Mike Tyson, getting him against the ropes, banging him to the body, hitting him with power shots, come on, man.
“He has the potential to knock this man out. You know that the power is the last thing that leaves you. You haven’t seen those little training videos, those aren’t sped up.
“This is Mike Tyson we’re talking about. Two minutes. That’s all it takes. He can get the knockout. Knock Disney Boy the hell out.”
