Another previously postponed fight has been rescheduled as boxing continues to ease back to normal during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jamal James (26-1, 12 KOs) will face Thomas Dulorme (25-3-1, 16 KOs) in the main event of a Premier Boxing Champions card at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, Aug. 8.

James and Dulorme were penciled in to fight at the Minneapolis Armory on April 11 until the COVID-19 lockdown brought live sports to a standstill.

The bout will be for the WBA welterweight interim title. The WBA currently recognizes Manny Pacquiao as the "regular" WBA welterweight champion.

James comfortably defeated Antonio Demarco via a 10-round unanimous decision in his last contest one year ago. Dulorme also claimed all of the scorecards when he outpointed Terrell Williams back in September.

The re-arranged fight will be the featured attraction for PBC Fight Night’s return on Fox. Also on the televised card will be a super-middleweight showdown between David Morrell Jr. and Lennox Allen for the WBA interim championship, and Omar Juarez vs. Willie Shaw in the lightweight division.

Following the Fox broadcast, FS1 will televise three separate additional contests featuring prospects Mykal Fox, Vito Mielnicki Jr. and Luis Pena.

A week prior to James vs. Dulorme, PBC presents Angelo Leo vs. Tramaine Williams on Aug. 1 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, live on Showtime.
