Jarrell Miller set for November fight against world champion

Jarrell Miller set for November fight against world championDAZN

Reports suggest that Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller will get back into the ring once again this year.

Miller made a return to the boxing ring in June to beat Ariel Esteban Bracamonte in Argentina, before moving on to beat Derek Cardenas in July.

He had hoped to fight once a month for the rest of 2022 but set up a fight in Almaty, Kazakhstan, which was abandoned when a number of fighters from Russia were unable to get visas.

However he now looks scheduled to fight Awadh Tamim this November in Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania.

Tamin is from Tanzania but currently fights out of Stockholm, Sweden and has fought across the world, including in Yemen and Lebanon.

Miller was set to fight Anthony Joshua before he failed a drug test, which was not the last doping problem he had. That led to almost four years out of the ring between his 2018 clash against Bogdan Dinu and his return in 2022.

Tamim most recently fought in June when he beat Shkelqim Ademaj to win the vacant WBF international heavyweight championship.
