Jazza Dickens and his trainer Derry Mathews have tested positive for COVID-19 and have immediately left the MTK fight bubble in London.

The Golden Contract featherweight tournament final between Jazza Dickens (29-3, 11 KOs) and Ryan Walsh (26-2-2, 12 KOs) has been postponed after Dickens and his trainer Derry Mathews tested positive for COVID-19.

The fight was set for Wednesday night, but Dickens and Mathews have now left the "fight bubble" and a new date is expected to be arranged in due course.

No other fighters tested positive, and Tyrone McKenna and Ohara Davies remain set to do battle in the super-lightweight final on top of a card of five remaining contests.

The show takes place at historic boxing venue York Hall in Bethnal Green, London, and for McKenna and Davies years of rivalry will finally come to a head.

The pair courted controversy when they scuffled outside the ring in 2019, and both of them can settle their differences in the ring now that they are due to fight for a deal with MTK.

Serge Michel meets Liam Conroy in the Golden Contract light heavyweight semi-final elsewhere on the show.

The amended fight card for Wednesday:

  • Tyrone McKenna vs. Ohara Davies; super lightweights
  • Liam Conroy vs Serge Michel, light heavyweights
  • Steven Ward vs Jone Volau, cruiserweights
  • Ben Fail vs Robbie Chapman, middleweights
  • William Hamilton vs TBC
