Jermell Charlo is looking to face some of the major players at 168lbs if he manages to beat the undisputed champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on Saturday night.
Charlo, who holds all four world title belts at light middleweight, will be going up two weight divisions to face Mexican pound-for-pound star.
The step up in weight makes Alvarez a favourite going into the fight in Las Vegas, but Charlo is feeling confident ahead of the first bell and is excited about what the future could hold if he manages to produce an upset.
"A win over Canelo will let me know that I am right where I should be,” Charlo told a group of reporters.
“And if I need more work to do, then I got more work to do. A win over Canelo will stamp me as one of the greats. I take his belts then I have to fight the Mexican Monster [David Benavidez], Caleb Plant, and all of the big boys, right?
"I'm going to have all of them motherf—s trying to fight me. And I got the short little Omaha fisherman [Terence Crawford], or whatever you want to call him – the net carrier.”
