Joe Joyce returned to winning ways this past weekend as he scored a last round knockout over Kash Ali in Telford.
Joyce had struggled to land on the Sheffield man throughout the fight, but his relentless pressure eventually found a way through as he registered an impressive finish.
This time last year, Joyce was seen as one of the biggest threats in the heavyweight division after stopping Joseph Parker at the backend of 2022.
Two stoppage losses to Zhilei Zhang halted Joyce’s momentum though, and after beating Ali, he’s eager to prove himself at the top level once again.
“I think the Parker rematch would be a good one,” said Joyce when speaking to IFLTV.
“Also, Dillian Whyte, maybe Wilder. I’d love to [box on the Fury-Usyk card]. It’s an exciting place, an exciting time. Turki Alalshikh is putting on some great fights. But equally, there’s fights here and in America. The Juggernaut is back. Stay tuned, I’m in for some big, powerful fights.”
