Following his sixth round stoppage win against Carlos Takam, what lies ahead for Joe Joyce is already on the mind of promoter Frank Warren.
Despite being made the mandatory challenger for Anthony Joshua's WBO heavyweight title following his victory over Takam, it's likely that Joyce will have to wait a while before he gets his shot.
If Joshua can get past Usyk on September 25th and WBC champion Tyson Fury beats Deonaty Wilder in their trilogy fight on October 9th, the two British heavyweights are the set to meet for the undisputed heavyweight championship.
Therefore, Joyce will need to keep active and one name that has been mentioned is Derek Chisora who just happened to be in the Wembley crowd on Saturday night.
Speaking to Boxing Scene, Warren likes the prospect of all-British affair between Joyce and Chisora, noting: "That would be great, wouldn’t it?
“He comes to fight. Can Derek do what this fella did for 12 rounds?"
When it comes to whether Chisora or any other fighter can beat Joyce, Warren believes no one will come close to stopping The Juggernaut.
"At the moment, I can’t see Joe being stopped by these guys. It’s not like he gets caught and shakes a bit, he’s just like ‘what’s that?' like a mosquito." Warren said.
“I’ve never seen someone so appropriately named as a juggernaut. That is just what he does, he just comes forward and forward and forward. He’s relentless."
