John Ryder has claimed that Jaime Munguia hits harder and throws more than Canelo Alvarez.
Ryder lost to Munguia last on Saturday night and was dropped four times, before the fight was stopped in the ninth round.
It was a brutal exhibition from Munguia. Per CompuBox, the Mexican landed 39% of his power punches and 50 body shots.
Following this victory, Munguia could square off with Canelo in a potential all-Mexican superfight.
Ryder fought Canelo in 2023. Therefore, he has recent experience with both Munguia and Canelo. Ryder told Diego Oritz that while Canelo has an outstanding IQ, he claimed Munguia 'hits harder' and 'throws more.'
