Joe Joyce was one of the first to congratulate Joseph Parker after his latest win, but he’s eager to face the New Zealander for a second time.
Parker continued his great run of form in Saudi Arabia as he climbed off the floor twice to register an impressive win over the dangerous Zhilei Zhang.
In 2022, Joyce became WBO interim champion with a brilliant stoppage over Parker, but his run was short-lived as he was stopped twice by Zhang the following year.
Parker has since defeated Deontay Wilder and Zhang, and Joyce has urged his old rival to meet him again after he faces Zhang in a contracted rematch.
“Great work @joeboxerparker,” wrote Joyce on his X account.
“Beat Zhang again and let’s run it back!”
