We are set for an undisputed super-lightweight champion of the world come May 22.

WBA, IBF and The Ring light-welterweight champion Josh Taylor knows that a win over WBO and WBC titleholder Jose Ramirez would not only crown him the undisputed king of the weight class, but could also open the door to some serious superfights in the future.

In an interview with BonusCodeBets.co.uk, the Scottish fighter laid out his ultimate dream fight plans if he is able to come out on top in the big winner-takes-all showdown on May 22.

"I'd love to have a fight at either Easter Road (home stadium of his beloved soccer side Hibernian) or Edinburgh Castle, that would be the whole bucket list ticked off," admitted 'The Tartan Tornado'.

"I'd have achieved everything I set out to achieve in the sport. That would be all my wishlist ticked off.

"A fight at Edinburgh Castle in the middle of the summer with the castle lit up in the background at night would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. It would be great to get Terence Crawford over or a massive title defence. It would be awesome - any fight at that venue would be amazing."

Taylor also revealed that WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury — who could also become an undisputed four-belt titleholder this summer if his planned clash with Anthony Joshua comes off for August — has been giving him some sound advice ahead of the Ramirez fight.

He explained: "It's been pretty good, it's been pretty lively. Obviously I've been training my guts off but it's been a good laugh as well and making that training the little more enjoyable.

"He's been giving me little bits of advice, stuff he thinks I could do and things that could work in the fight. He's been giving me some really good bits of advice.

"We made the decision to rent the house away from hotels and the strip, so there's no distractions. We're being very professional and taking care of business. We are out here taking things very, very seriously."
