Ever since Kell Brook retired from boxing after beating Amir Khan in 2022, it feels like the book is still not closed when it comes to the Sheffield fighter's career inside the ring.
The former IBF world welterweight champion has been linked with a number of British boxing's big names including Conor Benn and Liam Smith.
Now speaking in an interview on UpFront with Simon Jordan, Brook named the man he wants to face if he is to come out of retirement and claimed he dislikes this particular fighter more than Khan.
"Realistically I’d prefer to fight Chris Eubank Jr. It’s not easy at the weight I just don’t like him," Brook said.
"He’s so arrogant. I’d get through the camp easier, there’s something about him that gets through me.
“He just grinds at me so bad. I don’t know if it’s because he’s smarter than me, I dunno. He’s got something, but I just don’t like the kid. I dislike him more than Amir Khan.”
Eubank Jr. last fought in September with a stoppage win over Liam Smith in an exciting rematch.
He was then in negotiations for a fight against rival Conor Benn, but this failed to materialise and now the Brighton man's next move is uncertain.
