Kell Brook names the three British fighters that could bring him backDAZN

Kell Brook has suggested that he could be tempted out of retirement for the right fight.

Brook retired after his last bout, after beating Amir Khan with a dominant stoppage victory last year.

There had been suggestions that the pair could make a rematch, or that another fight could be made to keep him active, but for now the 37-year-old former world champion does not have anything in mind.

However, speaking to Free Bets, he suggested that the winner of the proposed second fight between Liam Smith and Chris Eubank could be the one that changes his mind.

He said: “It's not really on the cards, it got talked about. I've told the world that I'm a retired fighter but if something comes along that excites me I'm willing to listen and maybe have a comeback fight.

“But it's got to be something exciting that makes me want to train hard for a fight instead of just going through the motions.

“It needs to be someone that gives me that adrenaline and I'm a prizefighter so I've got to get paid well. So, it's got to make sense in every, every avenue for me to actually step through those ropes again.

“On the British scene, for me, it's the winner of Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr.

“I could get up for that fight, another big fight is Conor Benn.”
