Kell Brook has admitted that he would love to come out of retirement and compete in an exhibition match with boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.
The former welterweight champion retired from the sport in 2022, but speaking to Luckyblock.com, the 37-year-old admitted he could be tempted back into the ring if he was offered a match with Filipino icon Pacquiao, or a rematch with long-term rival Amir Khan - who he defeated in his final fight.
“I wouldn’t shy away from it if it made sense for me and boxing fans wanted to see it happen. Maybe we could get Amir Khan or Manny Pacquiao back in the ring. Manny Pacquiao is a legend, of course I’d love to share the ring with him. It would be an honour.”
Brook also revealed that he almost joined Khan in appearing in ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here last year, before producers eventually went another way.
Adding: “We went down to talk to them but I think ultimately someone else got picked for it. I’ve been watching a little bit. It’s my mum’s dream for me to go on I’m A Celebrity. I’d definitely be up for going on.
"I think it’d be a great experience to go out there and do all the bush tucker trials, overcome my fears and it’d be great entertainment for TV. Boxers seem to do well on it, the public are seeing the real person rather than the facade that surrounds them during fights."
