The retired legend's manager has continued the grudge with the Irish fighter.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz believes that Jake Paul would beat UFC fighter Conor McGregor in a boxing match.

Nurmagomedov inflicted the heaviest defeat McGregor has so far suffered in his career in the Octagon, and the pair of them have exchanged insults and more both before and after their fight.

McGregor also competed in the ring against Floyd Mayweather for the 44-year-old 50th consecutive victory before his own retirement, with Nurmagomedov also having stepped back from competition.

Paul’s most recent fight, his third of an unbeaten professional record, came against another former UFC fighter, Ben Askren, with the now retired fighter easily knocked out.

With another fight in his sights, McGregor has reportedly been offered a $50 million deal to get back in the boxing ring to fight the YouTuber.

Abdelaziz is backing Paul for the win, should they ever meet.

“Jake Paul, I like this kid. You know why? Because he is real. When he talked about Conor’s wife, [Paul] said [McGregor] talked about Khabib’s wife. I like Jake Paul,” reported BoxingScene.com.

"I think he’ll beat the s out of Conor, Conor's team-mates, all these guys. I like his brother too. Logan Paul, I like these kids, they make something from nothing. Even Mike Tyson likes these kids. Mike is my friend.”

32-year-old McGregor’s next fight is anticipated to be a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in July this year, while Paul’s next move is yet to be confirmed. His brother, Logan Paul, is due to meet Floyd Mayweather on June 6.
