KSI on if Jake Paul fight is inevitable: 'Why the f— do you think I am here?'DAZN

Social media megastar KSI looks to avenge his brother’s loss against long-time rival and American YouTube sensation Alex Wassabi. The fight card can be seen in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Ireland only on DAZN PPV. For everyone else across the world, the card will be available to subscribers on DAZN.

But the fight people are talking about for KSI is a potential one with fellow social media influencer now turned boxer Jake Paul. Before talks could begin, Paul faces off with Hasim Rahman Jr. on Saturday, Aug. 6, which can be seen on DAZN in the UK and Ireland, and KSI needs to take care of business three weeks later.

Paul's been dismissive of them fighting. But, on the other hand, KSI feels it's only inevitable they meet inside the ring.

"(Screams) Why the f— do you think I am here? Why do you think I have come back? Everyone thinks Jake Paul is sick. He’s not. He’s not good, and I’m going to expose him, " KSI said. "But give it time. It’s all strategic. Everything is strategic. There’s a reason why I didn't straight go after beating Logan to fighting Jake Paul.

"I wanted to work on music, build a foundation and now, look at me. I’ve got number ones, top tens, number one albums. Music, foundation (is) good. Everything is sorted. Now, it’s time for me to do the boxing. Now, it’s time for me to be an Eddie Hearn. Make my own boxing events. Jake Paul is an idiot. He has to fight to make money. I don’t even have to fight to make money."

While KSI was going on his rant, Wassabi was just listening and taking it all in. The American believes the fight will happen but not before he takes care of KSI on Aug. 27.

"I think he knows he’s not ready (for Jake Paul)," Wassabi said. "He needs to buy time. But it is a smart move. It’s what he needs to do. He needs to get back into the ring, fight a couple of more times. He probably won’t fight him next."
