KSI believes that he will be the fighter to finally end Jake Paul’s unbeaten run.
Paul recently signed to MMA organisation PFL but will keep active in the boxing ring, and KSI could provide him with a high-profile opponent after his last win over Anderson Silva.
For now, though, British social media star KSI will be focused on his next match-up, this weekend against FaZe Temper, shown live on DAZN.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he was asked if he would be the one to defeat Jake Paul, he said: “Yes, 100 per cent, I am the man.
“That’s the reason I came back and through every fight that I do, you will see that I’m 'that guy!'
“I really, really love this whole boxing scene, it gives me purpose, it’s my passion right now, so I just want to keep doing and eventually get to Jake Paul and knock him out.”
KSI has business links with Jake’s brother, Logan Paul, as the pair have founded the Prime Hydration drink, which has so far proved a commercial success. KSI admitted that a boxing rivalry would potentially make life difficult.
“Yeah, it’s very awkward,” he added.
“Logan knows it’s coming, it’s happening, and when me and Jake do fight, obviously he’s going to back his brother because that’s his blood.
“But, at the end of the day, we’re going to find out who is the best of the best is when it comes to this YouTube scene.
“And this rivalry has been boiling and building for years and years.”
