YouTube celebrity KSI believes that he could defeat Floyd Mayweather should they meet in the ring.
KSI fought and beat Logan Paul in one of the first internet celebrity boxing matches, in a card which also featured Paul’s younger brother, the occasionally patience-testing digital jester, Jake Paul.
Speaking on Logan’s podcast, the subtly-titled ‘Impaulsive,’ KSI told his erstwhile opponent that he would dispatch multi-weight, legendary fighter Mayweather. Paul and Mayweather fought last month in a non-competitive exhibition.
KSI claimed:"I'd [beat] up Mayweather."
Paul retorted: "It's funny you said you could beat him. I wanted to ask you about this - you probably think you could beat most people?"
KSI continued his emission thus: "I feel like that's the mentality you have to have.
"People will be like: 'What? KSI thinks he could beat Mayweather? Shut up.'
"And then it's like: 'Alright, cool, let's go then.'
"Then it happens and everyone's like: 'Oh damn.'"
Aged 44, Mayweather appears reluctant to get back in the ring in any form, meaning KSI may be thwarted in his quest to defeat one of the most accomplished boxers of all time.
