Bakhodir Jalolov’s next fight is off with the Uzbek heavyweight now set to focus on the upcoming Paris Olympics.
The 2020 Olympic champion is currently 14-0 with 14 stoppages as a professional and he was set to fight on April 14, but those plans have now been called off.
Considered the best heavyweight prospect in the world by many, Jalolov is eager to move into the business end of the division but that wait must go on.
With professionals now allowed to box in the Olympics, Jalolov is aiming to bring glory back to Uzbekistan for a second time.
"I want to inform you that my fight on April 14 has been cancelled,” said Jalolov which was reported by Jalol Akhmedov on X.
“The main attention will be focused on the upcoming Paris Olympics. Thank you very much to all of you who support me in any way."
