Canelo is back in May.

Jaime Munguia has finally got his dream opportunity against Canelo Alvarez on May 4, but one of the world’s best trainers does not give him much of a chance in the fight.

The Mexican pair will clash with super-middleweight honours on the line and it’s a fight that has caused plenty of excitement.

Before the official announcement, there was speculation linking Canelo to a fascinating encounter with Terence Crawford.

That battle is no longer happening for the time being, but Crawford’s trainer, Brian McIntyre, has had plenty to say on Canelo’s upcoming contest.

“I don’t got nothing against Munguia, but you can’t beat Canelo,” said McIntyre when speaking to K.O. Artist Sports

“He’s [Canelo] been in with the best, and Munguia ain’t had no big fight like that. All the big fights that Canelo has had, and the waters he’s tested and all the weight classes. I can’t see it.”
