One boxer is very confident about one fantasy fight.

Julio Cesar Chavez is one of boxing’s best ever fighters following a memorable run that saw him capture world titles in several weight classes.

The Mexican star’s pressure style made him a huge name at home, and in America, as he took on some of the greatest names from his era.

Sharing the ring with numerous high-profile fighters, Chavez was often able to find a way to win as he went unbeaten in his first 90 fights.

Eventually retiring in 2005, Chavez walked away with an incredible legacy, but how does he feel he would've fared against Floyd Mayweather if they met in their respective primes?

“I believe that at 140lbs, 135lbs I would have beaten him definitely,” said Chavez when speaking to PremierLiveTV

“I would have beaten him why? Because that was my weight. I could never dial 147lbs. I fought for the championship but no it was not my weight, you understand me.

“At 135 or 140 I would have beaten Mayweather. Remember that I fought with his uncle and his uncle was the one who taught him so I think I would have beaten him."
