Leigh Wood: My win over Xu Can will be convincingDAZN
The British contender is not considering any other outcome but victory, he told The DAZN Boxing Show.

Leigh Wood believes he is ready to take on Xu Can as the headline the first Fight Camp of 2021 with a WBA featherweight title clash.

The 27-year-old Chinese fighter is putting his belt on the line, and Wood is ready to take him on, explaining he had long been prepared to make a fight.

“It would have been impossible if I’d not lived the life in the gym, I'd have never been ready in six weeks,” he told the DAZN Boxing Show.

“What I’ve been working on, I feel so blessed with the team I’ve got now. I’m 100 percent confident in my gameplan.

“Yeah, he throws a lot of punches but I know what to do to minimise that, but get my best attributes off. It won't be easy, I’m ready to go through hell for it. It will be a lot more convincing than people think it’s going to be.”
