Lennox Lewis explains why Anthony Joshua rematch could be 'easy' for Daniel Dubois

The all-British rematch is rumoured for 2025.

IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois sent a message to his rivals in his win over Anthony Joshua last September.

In front of a sold out crowd at Wembley Stadium, Dubois shocked fight fans with a fifth-round knockout against the two-time champion, who found himself on the canvas four times before the contest was stopped.

Dubois finds himself on the brink of some huge fights, one of those being a clash with the winner of the Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury rematch on December 21, live on DAZN PPV.

There is also the possibility of Dubois facing Joshua for a second time in 2025, with February 22 being rumoured as a potential date.

If the rematch does get made, former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis believes Dubois could find it easier second time round to get the win over Joshua.

"It’s going to be the same thing, Dubois is coming after you and when he’s done that to you the first time, it’s going to be easier for him to do it to you the second time, unless you make some drastic changes," Lewis told Boxing News

"If he [Joshua] is going to do the rematch, he needs to make some drastic changes in his boxing."

Another domestic star has been linked with a fight against Dubois in the form of British heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley, who after being ranked within the IBF's top 15, is now eligible for shot at Dubois' IBF belt.
