Liam Smith is unsure where Chris Eubank Jr goes if he loses to the Liverpool man for a second time this year.
The pair collide again on September 2 and defeat is not an option for either man, as they renew hostilities with both at the backend of their careers.
Smith was dominant in the first fight back in January as he made an explosive start before stopping Eubank in the fight’s fourth session.
With Eubank possessing an immediate right to a rematch, he’s resisted other options in order to tackle Smith again and ‘Beefy’ believes that defeat for the Brighton fighter could signal the end of his run in boxing.
“I probably predict he’ll come off another stoppage loss too and then it’s down to Chris and his team, but at 33 years of age, losing twice to me, is his ambitions to still be world champion quite realistic? Probably not,” said Smith when speaking to Sky Sports.
“I feel he would probably be done after this but with Chris and his ego, he might not be.”
