Liam Smith has his sights set on another world title push if he gets past Chris Eubank Jr on July 1.
The pair meet for a second time later this year after Smith knocked out Eubank Jr this past January.
If Smith manages to walk away from the AO Arena in Manchester with the win, he is eager to pursue a fight with WBO middleweight title holder Zhanibek Alimkhanuly in an attempt to become a two-weight world champion.
"He's not really high risk, low reward because the reward is his world title," Smith told Sky Sports.
"The Denzel Bentley fight has brought [Alimkhanuly] down a peg, but still a very good fight. I've known of him for a bit, I watched him in the Olympics, saw him beat [Anthony] Fowler in the Olympics. He's still only had 13 fights, a good fighter."
Alimkhanuly returns to action on Saturday night when he defends his title against Steven Butler in a fight which can be seen live on ESPN+ (US only).
