The Queensberry promoter offers his fighter advice ahead of the DAZN clash

Frank Warren believes that Liam Williams will have to knock Demetrius Andrade out on Saturday as he cannot risk the judges’ scoring.

Williams fights Andrade on April 17 in a match shown globally on DAZN. On the line is Andrade’s WBO middleweight belt.

According to Warren, writing in the Daily Star, he was not allowed to send a British judge to the event due to coronavirus restrictions.

“That is not ideal but I believe Williams can go out there and ensure it doesn't matter in the end,” he wrote.

“Williams has improved so much lately and he has been chasing this fight with Andrade for some time.

“I've always believed he has the beating of the American and I think he will show that [on Saturday].

“There is an extra spice to this with Williams being my man and Andrade being promoted by Eddie Hearn.

“Rivalries are what makes this sport great and I hope this is the first of getting a few over the other promotional team.”

With no home representation on the judging panel, Warren said: “Liam Williams has to go out [on Saturday] and show he doesn't need the judges to beat Demetrius Andrade.”
