Luis Pineda briefly teased fans with The Undertaker intro music at KSI’s fight with Joe Fournier on Saturday night.
At the crossover extravaganza, shown live on DAZN, there was a lull between events as boxers were interviewed ahead of their respective fights.
All of a sudden, the arena cut the lights, and the trademark gongs rang out, recreating the introduction of WWE superstar The Undertaker.
While for a brief moment fans might have anticipated the appearance of the legendary sports entertainer the lights were quickly turned back on again to show Pineda and BDave performing a song in the ring. There had already been a few surprises for the event, with Derek Chisora making an appearance at the weigh-in on Friday, as he briefly entertained fighting one of the crossover fighters if there was good money on offer.
In the end, the biggest surprise of the night was the controversial ending to the headline event, as KSI was declared the winner for a KO which looked to be delivered via an accidental elbow.
