Andre Onana has faced serious scrutiny since joining Manchester United from Inter Milan in a high profile move.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper has endured a mixed debut season at Old Trafford with a number of errors placing him in the spotlight along with United’s inability to find consistency this campaign.
Goalkeepers at United have always been expected to take on plenty of responsibility and the club has had numerous outstanding stoppers including Peter Schmeichel and Edwin van der Sar.
Despite Onana still getting used to being United’s number one, he’s admitted that he’s sought inspiration from Muhammad Ali.
"It's his mindset. It was not something easy. He had to pass through a lot of difficulties, and he was only looking at the positive side, the positive parts. He was very positive and that is what I like,” said Onana when speaking to Inside United.
"You know, no matter what happens in life, I've always said that it cannot rain forever, the sun will shine.”
