Matchroom Boxing gives a behind-the-scenes look of Fight CampDAZN
Matchroom Boxing is doing something not seen in the modern era with a ring in the backyard.

Matchroom Boxing is definitively taking the fight to the backyard starting Saturday.

The first of four events of "Fight Camp," from the garden of Matchroom's offices, located at Brentwood, Essex, England, begin with a junior middleweight main event between Sam Eggington (28-6, 17 KOs) and Ted Cheeseman (17-2-1, 9 KOs). The card will be shown live on Sky Sports in the U.K. and DAZN in the U.S.

"It’s in the garden and there won't be a crowd but that doesn't matter to me," Eggington said in a press release. "If I’m having a fight and it’s a packed-out arena, I want to win that fight. If I’m having a fight in an empty room, I'm having a fight and I still want to win. I'm going to bite down on my gum-shield and do anything I can to win."

On Monday, Matchroom released photos of the construction of how "Fight Camp" is progressing before the action takes place in a few short days.

The co-main event features James Tennyson (26-3, 22 KOs) taking on Gavin Gwynne (12-1, 2 KOs) for the vacant British lightweight title. The rest of the card includes Jordan Gill (24-1, 7 KOs) meeting Reece Bellotti (14-3, 12 KOs), fast-rising heavyweight Fabio Wardley (8-0, 7 KOs) squaring off against Simon Vallily (17-2-1, 7 KOs) and Dalton Smith (5-0, 4 KOs) facing with Nathan Bennett (9-1, 2 KOs).
