The Coronavirus has once again forced changes to the boxing schedule.

Matchroom Boxing's upcoming event at the Pabellón de la Vall d`Hebron in Barcelona has been moved from Friday, March 26 to Friday, April 23 due to extended travel restrictions in the country, thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

European championship action takes centre stage on the card as Sandor Martin (36-2, 13 KOs) puts his super-lightweight title on the line against Kay Prosper (14-1-1, 7 KOs) and featherweight champion Andoni Gago (24-3-3, 7 KOs) defends his belt against Gavin McDonnell (22-2-2, 6 KOs).

Also on the card, European super-welterweight champ Sergio ‘El Nino’ Garcia (33-0, 14 KOs) keeps busy as he looks to defend his title later in the year and Bilbao’s former European welterweight kingpin Kerman ‘Revolver’ Lejarraga (31-2, 24 KOs) aims to make it four wins in a row since losing his belt to David Avanesyan.

Avanesyan recently retained that very title in impressive fashion, ending the unbeaten record of Josh Kelly on Feb. 20. That show was live on DAZN across most of the world, and the Barcelona show will be available to DAZN subscribers worldwide .

Matchroom managing director Eddie Hearn said of the Spanish show last month: "This is a huge card for Spanish boxing and we can’t wait to return.

"As Matchroom Boxing continues its global expansion, Spain remains a big focus for us and this double European Title card features some of the country's strongest talents with two hungry Brits looking to come and rip the titles from them. Don’t miss all the action live on DAZN."
