The first-ever four-way survivor tag match at MF & DAZN X Series 008, live on DAZN on Saturday, was 12 minutes of strange science, boxing chaos.
But at the end of it all, NichLMAO proved to be the most consistent boxer. Judges inside the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Tennessee gave him 117 points as he defeated Swarmz, Ryan Johnston and B Dave.
NichLMAO delivered a memorable moment in each of the four rounds, but clinched his survivor tag victory during the waning seconds of the match when he blasted Johnston with a left-right-left combination that sent him careening to the ropes. Had there been a few more seconds, NichLMAO might have very well produced a knockout — although admittedly, he didn't have any boxing blueprint entering this unique bout.
"No strategy," NichLMAO conceded during his post-fight interview after winning the every-man-for-himself battle.
Early into the four-round matchup, it became evident that NichLMAO and Swarmz were the better of the four fighters, with each producing his fair share of highlights. But NichLMAO feels like he was just a tad bit better in the bout that allowed a fighter to tag any other fighter at any time.
"I think Swarmz struggled to hit me," NichLMAO added. "He did really well against the others. But I think ultimately, I was able to handle each fighter individually better."
Here's how the entire MF & DAZN X Series 008 main card went.
