Jake Paul's next step in his boxing career is an interesting one.
After knocking out Ryan Bourland in the first round of their contest on March 2, Paul will now face boxing legend Mike Tyson on July 20 in his next fight.
This announcement shocked the boxing world, and Paul is likely to be considered the favourite against someone who was once a feared name.
However, Tyson's head coach Rafael Cordeiro is confident his fighter can trouble "The Problem Child" with his punch power.
“This fight won’t be a massacre, it’s going to be a very technical match, because we have a kid on the other side that can box and isn’t afraid,” Cordeiro told MMA Fighting.
“Mike has such heavy hands, and it will be impossible not to touch Jake. Jake will feel Mike’s hands, there’s no other way, and that’s when we’ll have an idea on how the fight will go. It’s going to be interesting to see."
Cordiero also claimed that once Tyson is able to land his first punch in the contest, it will have major consequences for Paul as the fight progresses.
"Panic — he will panic,” Cordeiro continued.
“That’s the goal. Our goal is to keep Jake in panic the entire fight. Or for as long as he can take it.”
