In footage obtained by TMZ Sports, former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is alleged to have reached over his seat on the airplane and repeatedly punched a fellow passenger in the face.
Tyson was on a Jet Blue flight going from San Francisco International Airport to Florida. A witness told TMZ that the passenger was seen talking with Tyson and ended up taking a selfie. The passenger continued to try and converse with "Iron Mike," but Tyson allegedly grew agitated with the male and told him to relax. The passenger reportedly refused, which led to the 55-year-old throwing several punches to his face, resulting in the man bleeding and having cuts on the right side of his forehead.
A source close to Tyson went on to tell TMZ the man had been “extremely intoxicated” and “wouldn’t stop provoking” the former boxer, which led to the altercation. After the incident, Tyson got off the plane and the passenger got medical attention and went to the police about the incident.
Tyson last fought in November 2020 in an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr., which went to a draw, despite the consensus being Tyson looked excellent and should have gotten the victory.
