Joyce discussed who would win in a fantasy clash.

Joe Joyce believes Mike Tyson would have beaten Tyson Fury had the pair met in their prime.

Tyson recently announced his return to the ring to fight Jake Paul in July, at which point he will be 58, three decades older than his prospective rival.

Fury meanwhile is lined up to fight Oleksandr Usyk on May 18 live on DAZN PPV for the chance to become undisputed at heavyweight. Despite being a two-time world champion, Tyson was never undisputed.

Joyce once held the WBO interim heavyweight champion but lost it in back-to-back fights with Zhilei Zhang, and fights this Saturday against Kash Ali as part of his comeback ( live on ESPN+ in the US ).

Speaking to OLBG , Joyce predicted that in his prime, Tyson would edge any fight with the current WBC champ, explaining: “Mike Tyson in his prime would beat Tyson Fury in his prime, Mike had that intimidation factor when he was knocking guys out early in every fight.

"His technique, timing and speed would have been too much. He was phenomenal.”
