Mike Tyson will soon return to the ring in a seniors exhibition format against fellow former world champion Roy Jones Jr., but he is open to something even bigger.

Mike Tyson recently admitted that his upcoming return to the boxing ring via the exhibition circuit at the age of 54 could one day involve him taking on a current top heavyweight.

Tyson will face fellow ring great Roy Jones Jr. on Nov. 28 at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif., in what he hopes will be the launching pad for a "Legends Only"  project that would see big names from various sports return as part of a seniors circuit of sorts.

During an interview with IFL TV, he was asked if he'd consider an active boxer for an exhibition.

"If doing that means we can have bigger charity exponents, well so be it," replied Tyson. "I'm down to do that too.

"This is all being done for charity, and if they're down to do that, I'm with it too.

"It's entertainment, it's just for charity — it's for a good cause, but we're giving our best."

This led to one name in particular being offered: current WBA (Super), WBO and IBF titleholder Anthony Joshua, who hopes to soon achieve what "Iron Mike" once did and stand as the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

An enthusastic Tyson said: "I would love to do that. That would be mind blowing."
