WBO super welterweight champion Natasha Jonas is running out of patience as he attempts to make a fight with Hannah Rankin.
The veteran fighter wants to defend her title this September in her home city of Liverpool, and Rankin would bring the WBA belt to the ring to see the winner emerge as a unified champion.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the 37-year-old discussed the delay in arranging the bout.
"They like to blame it on us. I understand there's a business of boxing, but they're making it difficult," Jonas claimed. "It's a long time out, but I want to know who I'm boxing, and regardless of that, I'm not going to wait around forever for her if that's what she wants."
Rankin has a list of three names as alternatives; IBF super welterweight champion Marie Eve Dicaire, Cynthia Lozano, and Marianne Ahlborg are on her shortlist.
"We're in the era, luckily enough, of one belt just isn't enough, especially for the females," Jonas said. "Everyone doesn't only want to be a champion, they want to be unified, or they want to be undisputed. If I could get an undisputed, that would be me done."
