'One day' - Manny Pacquiao hopes to fight in UK after Yordenis Ugas clashChris Farina
The Filipino is preparing to meet Yordenis Ugas this weekend.

Manny Pacquaio aims to fight in Britain before the end of his boxing career.

The 42-year-old Filipino is set to fight Yordenis Ugas for the WBA super welterweight title on Saturday night in Las Vegas, after Errol Spence Jr had to drop out of their planned fight due to an eye injury.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Pacquiao explained that he almost fought in Britain once before, coming close to a match-up with British fighter Amir Khan.

"Almost that fight," Pacquiao said.

"Almost close to have that fight, but there was a problem about something. I will not disclose it."

The pair had sparred before having shared a coach in Freddie Roach, but the former champion believed he would have had the upper hand in a professional meeting.

"Fighting in the ring, inside the ring is different than training," explained Pacquiao.

"Different than sparring or anything. Big difference."

"I hope that one day I could have a fight [in the UK]," he continued.

"I'm hoping for one fight in the UK."
